The famous Atala bicycle company was founded in Italy in 1921 by Cesare Rizzato.

In the 1970’s the Cesare Rizzato and Company produced mopeds in Padova, Italy. The Rizzato Califfo was imported to the US by Promark Products, in Ohio USA. The Rizzato La Mopette was imported by G.B. Enterprises, in 6535 N Clark St, Chicago, Illinois USA.
