Description

1970 Ford Mustang Fastback 351 Cleveland V8 Auto

Hello up for sale is my stunning 1970 Mustang Fastback, details are follows....
The engine is a 351 Cleveland V8, spent almost £4k on the engine a few years back and it is a real animal, i'm pretty sure the car has 4.11 gears so it will smoke the rear tyres with little effort, having said that it is more than happy cruising, a lot of money has also been spent on the transmission in the last few years.
Mileage is about 51k, i'm certain this is the original mileage as I have MOT's dating back to the early 1980's which all show mileage.
I would be almost sure the engine is original also but I have not checked the numbers to confirm that.
Some of the upgrades to the car are as follows…..
Ford Cobra Jet Cam and steel timing gear.
Crane Cams hardened pushrods, guide plates and screw in studs.
Comp Cams "Magnum" roller rocker arms.
Moroso big wing sump.
Weiand accelerator intake manifold.
Holley 650cfm vacuum secondary 4 barrel carb.
Ford Motorsport valve covers.
Ford Motorsport air cleaner.
Mallory distributor.
MSD electronic ignition.
New MSD Blaster 2 coil.
New Autometer water temperature gauge.
New Battery.
New starter solenoid.
Power steering.
Drum brakes.
H pipe exhaust system with cherry bombs with custom made headers, the car is pretty loud and has an amazing sound.
C6 three speed Automatic transmission, shifts perfect with no issues.
B & M Megashifter, has a little bit of play in it but still operates as it should.
Quick Shift Kit.
15" Centerline Wheels in excellent condition.
All tyres have excellent tread, recent 2 new tyres.
Spare wheel/tyre.
Has an aftermarket Blaupunkt radio fitted which works great.
The bodywork is in very good condition, has some small bits of bubbling appearing on the lower doors.
Paintwork is generally very good, it's a yellow car from the factory.
Floors and boot area are all solid.
Black interior in very good condition, recently I had the seats professionally re-trimmed in vinyl and it looks great, headlining has a slight split and a slight crack on the dash pad.
MOT exempt.
Tax exempt.
Original owners manual.
HPI clear.
V5 present.
I also have the Marti report which details how the car left the factory, available to view on request.
So to conclude this is a really nice classic Mustang that is ready to enjoy at the car shows, it is not a concourse show queen but is in beautiful all round condition and I think you would struggle to find a better one for this kind of money if you are after this shape.
I've owned the car for about 6 years and will be sorry to see it go but I need the money for a deposit on a flat/house.
Viewings welcome however please only come to view if you are serious about buying it as it's not garaged where I live so i'd rather someone come to view who actually wants to buy it as it can be a hassle to go and get it out of storage.
Please Email for a few videos of the car.
Thanks for looking.
