1998 Mercedes-Benz R129 SL500. Rare AMG Sport spec in Black Opal Pearl.

Offering for sale my cherished R129 SL500 in the rare Black Opal Pearl colour and even rarer desirable AMG Sport kit.
I’ve owned the car since 2020 and it was something I’d craved to have ever since I was a kid. The only reluctant reason for sale is to help fund a house purchase.
I've maintained her to a high standard for the next owner to owner to enjoy and continue.
Since owned she’s had;
- Major Service including
- New shocks all round
- New rear brake discs
- New rear brake pads
- New shims all round
- New engine hoses
- Oil change, Oil/Fuel filters replaced
- New Air filters
Plus
- Refreshed Power steering hoses
- 4 x new premium tyres (not shown in pics and covered less than 1000 miles)
- New rear high brake light cover (not shown in pics)
- Roof hydraulic piston seals replaced all round plus new roof control unit fitted. I had a couple of hydraulic leaks start so decided to replace all the seals. Work carried out by specialists R129.co in Kent. Buy a car that has had this work done as the roof seals WILL go at some point. The work costs between £2-3k
In addition to this I’ve had professional detailing carried out with Ceramic coating on the paintwork. The paint is now swirl free and has a high gloss factor when clean. The colour really is fantastic and flits and pops between Black, Green or Blue depending on the light!
