  • CCA to auction their first-ever Aston Martin Rapide
  • 195 cars from collections to restorations are on offer with 50 No Reserves
  • The action takes place at the Warwickshire Event Centre on June 18th

Classic Car Auctions are celebrating the announcement of their largest ever one day sale as everyone prepares to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. A stunning selection fit for Royalty will be offered at the Warwickshire Event Centre on the 18th June.

Among the leading modern classics cars are a 2007 Bentley Continental GTC, 2001 Bentley Arnage Red Label, 2002 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish and a first for CCA a 2010 Aston Martin Rapide V12.

If it is classic luxury, a 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud 1, 1980 Rolls -Royce Silver Shadow II and a 1959 Jaguar Mk IX 3.8 are also being offered.

Gary Dunne CCA Sales Manager commented: “These are some of the most fabulous cars we will be offering and delighted to have them confirmed in Jubilee week, these really are fit for Royalty.”

“The number of cars consigned has again confirmed that the appetite for auctions is very strong. We have come off the back of a record-breaking two-day sale at the NEC and now we have a record-breaking one-day sale with 195 cars consigned.”

One of the highlight cars is the 2010 Aston Martin Rapide V12 with 33,000 miles finished in the launch colour of Hardly Green Metallic. It is a fabulous example of the four-door four-seater coupe, which when new, was over £150,000. With an extensive Aston Martin history it is guided at £38,000 to £42,000.

“This must be a first for CCA to have a Rapide. As stunning car but it also goes to show the variety that CCA offers” commented Gary.

The 2007 Bentley Continental GTC is another of the highlight cars for CCA. Beautifully presented with a full-service history, this 6 litre W12 powered drop-top is bound to turn heads and at £34,000 to £38,000, what a car. Not a time machine but it apparently appeared in Dr Who.

Another Aston Martin in the sale is the 2002 V12 Vanquish, the Ian Callum designed 460bhp V12 guided at £48,000 to £54,000.

A few years younger than when the Queen came to the throne, but certainly fit for period, is the 1959 Jaguar Mk IX 3.8. With £13,000 spent in the last five years and guided at £22,000 to £26,000 this is a fabulous performance saloon to waft down the country lanes.

Alternatively, and of the same vintage as the Jaguar, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud 1 could have another star performance, having already featured in the film Mortdecai with Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan Mc Gregor in 2014. In need of light recommissioning this is elegant cloud is guided at £12,000 to £16,000.

Gary rounded off with: “This has been a remarkable effort by everyone, confirming that CCA are the place to offer an Everyman Classic this year. So far this year over 440 cars have been offered, with a combined value of almost £6 million pounds going under the hammer. We very much look forward to the 18th June and look forward to welcoming vendors and buyers to the Warwickshire Event Centre.”

Viewing takes place on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th with sale day being the Saturday 18th June.

The Classic Car Auction Summer sale is being held at the Warwickshire Event Centre, where there is plenty of free parking and it is easily accessed from the M40, M42.
