Another prestigious award for the unique Diavel 1260 design

Ducati have always considered design and character a priority, and their record of international awards proves their commitment has definitely paid off. Undisputedly a style icon, after winning the prestigious European design prize, the Red Dot Award, the Diavel 1260 S has now gone on to taste success in the United States too, where the Bologna-built muscle cruiser has been awarded the Good Design Award.

Quickly becoming a true style icon, the Diavel 1260 continues its winning streak in international design competitions.

Assigned by the Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design, and by the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, the Good Design Award is one of the most sought-after prizes and one that has been certifying global excellence in design since 1950.

Elegant yet Powerful and beefy, the Diavel 1260 combines maxi-naked performance with muscle cruiser ergonomics. The second-generation of this incredibly special bike retains the spirit of the original, drawing on its key styling elements yet comprehensively modernising them. The bike's beating heart, the 159 hp Testastretta DVT 1262 engine, is seamlessly and meticulously incorporated into the design. For 2020 the unconventional, unmistakeable Diavel 1260 will wearing two new colour schemes, Dark Stealth, an all-black look available for the standard version, and the all-new Ducati Red, with white trim and red seat tail available on on the S version, to emphasise the power-cruiser spirit and sporty performance of the original bike, of course with inimitable Ducati flair.
