996.1 C2 Manual - 3.4

FOR SALE – 996.1 3.4 C2
I bought this car a while ago and looked around for a long time before I chose it. I bought on condition and history, and I wanted a car that had been used, not a car that had been sat or not serviced for prolonged periods, as lack of use is typically what leads to issues!
As you know the early 3.4 cars are the lightest and suit British B-roads perfectly. The 3.4`s got the hallowed 5 stars from evo. This car came with a great spec, and has it`s certificate of Authenticity from Porsche confirming options:
• Artic Silver Metallic
• Black Leather
• 18 Turbo look wheels
• Rear wiper
• 3 spoke steering wheel
• Coloured wheel centres
• PSM
• Fully electric memory seats with lumbar support system
• Heated seats
• Top tint windscreen
• Sunroof
• Stainless steel entrance panels
• Aluminum dials
• Silver rear centre console
• Aluminum handbrake
It`s in great condition, MOT`d to end of Aug with a clean pass. All old MOTs and a fully stamped history with all supporting invoices. A mountain of paperwork in fact – prob the most complete history of any car I`ve had. Current milage is 94,800, going up slowly with weekend blasts.

In addition to the regular servicing this car has had all of the major problem areas addressed in the past few thousand miles by specialists including:
• all brakes inc braided hoses - Brookspeed
• front radiators and aircon condensers - Brookspeed
• gearbox rebuild, clutch, RMS & IMS Seals, brake line over gearbox, shortshift & more – Sports & Classic Ltd (£7,760 spent)
• 2 x new keys from Porsche
The car is running fast road spec and is subtly enhanced:
• Short shift
• Low temp Thermostat
• RSS semi solid engine mounts
• Top gear exhausts, manifolds and 200 cell cats
• KW coilovers
• New PS4s
• Centre Gravity setup – full suspension check and all work needed done
• Centre console delete (parts inc to reinstate if you miss cd storage!)
• Bluetooth adapter added to OM stereo for streaming
It`s very much a road car and has been aligned to optimise road driving and feel. It`s running X74 ride height. The guys at Centre Gravity are absolute geniuses and set up the car for a previous owner in 2015 as well as for me in 2021. They replaced all the bits that needed doing across the two visits and even got their preferred tyre place to provide date matched pairs of PS4s – yes, the attention to detail really is that good!
This car drives very, very well. It`s an absolute joy down a B-road, the handling is incredibly well balanced, the shortshift adds to the feel, and the exhausts are well judged – sporty but not too loud.
The engine feels very strong and revs wonderfully.
Only being sold to make garage space for another car on order - Priced at £21,995 ONO
I appreciate this is at the top end of the market currently, but you could easily spend less than this on a car and then a lot of money on remedial work and enhancements, and still not end up with a car as good as this.
Thanks for looking – happy to answer questions.
