Bradbury & Co was established in 1852 (originally as a sewing machine manufacturer) and went into motorbike production in the early 1900’s. The earliest model was a bicycle style machine with a 1¾hp Minerva clip-on engine.

By 1910 Bradbury motorbikes had won more than 300 first prizes including 18 gold medals in hill climbing competitions. Bradbury motorbikes were superior machines for their day, however, what strikes most about this 554cc machine, aside from its sheer beauty, is the level of craftsmanship that is evident. The combination of skill and knowledge required to restore this veteran machine to such a level, is extremely rare and sadly dwindling.

The finish of this wonderful machine speaks for itself: it was a remarkable work of industrial design when first conceived over 100 years ago.
