Triumph Motorcycles Model P 1927

This bike was purchased from the UK and arrived into New Zealand in December 2009.
The information supplied states that this Model P was originally acquired with the intention of using it at suitable vintage events and as such is presented in very good condition.
It was purchased with sundry expired Statutory Off Road Notifications (SORNs), original instruction manual, photocopied spare parts list, old style Swansea V5, expired MOT (2003-04), Sunbeam motorcycle club dating certificate and some Model P related technical information and current V5C registration documents.
A Triumph specialist for the Vintage Motor Cycle Club of Britain has, at our request, viewed the bike and assisted with the following overview:-
The bike has been assembled from more than one model; the frame from a Model P assembled during July 1925 and the engine originally from a Model N produced in September 1927. The fuel tank is probably from a 1927 Model P while the single spring front fork is typical of the Model N. All Model Ps have side spring druids.
Even with a mixture of components, this bike is highly desirable as a vintage rally bike. Original parts are rare, therefore its presentation for sale in this current format is considered to be acceptable.
