S.E Hamblin were traditional coachbuilders and sheet metal fabricators.

For seven years Brian was competition secretary for the Alvis Owner Club and Alvis cars have always featured high in his interest. With this vast experience he is often required to be a Concours judge. Started racing vintage and classic cars in 1971, Brian achieved most success with the 4.3 litre Alvis 'Brutus' in the UK and the Isle of Man. Brian is also a valued and enthusiastic member of the Aston Martin Owners Club, Bentley Drivers Club, Vintage Sports Car Club, Morris Minor Owners Club, and Yeovil Car Club. A 1954 Bentley R-Type Sports Saloon, is his pride and joy with a daily driver being one of the last iconic Land Rover Defender XS 110 Station Wagons.
