Launched in April 1955, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I represented one of the most luxurious means of transport, both for those who chose to be chauffeured, and for the more enthusiastic owner-driver.

A rare coachbuilt Silver Cloud 1 that has resided in the sunny climes of southern California for a large part of its life. It was in the last few years bought back to the UK, registered & has then been kept in a private garage alongside a small selection of other Rolls Royce motor cars.

The car is finished in champagne over silver sand. The exterior is clad with an aluminium body to Hoopers design number 8425.  Hugely expensivce when new these coachbuilt cars sold for almost double what a standard steel car cost & were the epitome of opulence & indulgence. The rear doors hinge open from the back allowing for easy ingress & egress of back seat passengers.
