Now its smart watch partner VIITA Watches has elaborated a model that matches to the exquisite vehicles from Molsheim, France: The “Carbone Limited Edition” the world’s first limited-run smartwatch to be constructed with a full carbon fiber housing.
Finished with highlights of blue, as French racing colour forever associated with the brand, the carbon fiber elements are milled precisely from one solid block. The battery features the most recent technology leading to a capacity of 540 mAh. In normal use, without the GPS services, the battery lasts up to 15 days. In always-on mode, a battery life of two to three days can be expected. It features a GPS sensor housed among 1,000 intricately packaged components, which provides an entirely new level of accuracy. Wearers taking it to the racetrack can have their lap times and acceleration data recorded automatically by the watch.
Wiebke Ståhl (previously Bauer), Managing Director at BUGATTI International, points out that “at BUGATTI the use of innovative technology and materials is crucial alongside appearance, applicability and reliability. The “Carbone Limited Edition” smartwatch incorporates all those attributes, not just through its use of carbon fiber but also as far as it concerns beauty, rarity and technology.”
Only 2,500 will units ever be created, each of them comes with a five-year warranty – a new standard for smartwatches offered only by BUGATTI.
