This car was purchased new by an Army colonel in England, and was later purchased by a gentleman named Anthony Garrihy, who drove it in a road race in Ireland in July 1966.

All of the proceeds from the road race went to benefit the blind. The car was imported to the U.S. by the port of Mississippi on November 12, 1975. In 1996 the car underwent an extensive body-off restoration, which is fully documented with many photos of the entire restoration process. Every nut and bolt was restored or replaced. Since completion in 1997, it has strictly been used as a conversation piece and show car. It was trailered to many events and very little miles have been accumulated.
