Description
After Wolseley were acquired by William Morris in 1927, the lightweight Hornet was to be their new flagship model and they produced it from 1930 until 1936, offering a variety of body styles and coachbuilt options. The Hornet’s powerful overhead camshaft six-cylinder engine has long proved popular amongst enthusiasts and so many have been converted to open two-seaters and specials. As a result, there are very few original saloons left in existence, which makes this 1933 example particularly noteworthy.
