This 1971 Volkswagen Karman Ghia Convertible is described by the vendor as SUPERB, And we agree! this car has been restored very well with excellent attention to detail. The car was bought as a mid-life birthday pressie. This VW was previously imported from the US in lemon yellow with black interior, registration documents and DVLA acknowledgement of duties paid states that it was bought from Connecticut in August 2013 but was never registered in the UK. The vendor purchased the VW in 2017 for £7,500 and the car was then commissioned for a full restoration by Californian Classics - a Karmann Ghia expert. The work included a bare metal, body off restoration and an Upgraded 2.2 litre engine. The work was finished about 18 months ago and it has barely been used since. This Beautiful car was featured in an 8 page magazine article(magazine included) and displayed at a Volksworld show (As seen in photo),  Several folders, including photos in yellow, owners club magazines and the invoices for the restoration are supplied with the car. A Classic Tracker is fitted, and the vendor states that it had an Agreed Insurance valuation of £40,000
