Description
The Aston Martin DB7 prototype was first unveiled at the Geneva Motorshow in 1993. The stunning new luxury Grand Tourer shared its platform with the Jaguar XJS, with its curvaceous part steel part composite body penned by Ian Callum.
Powered by a Jaguar sourced straight six and later by the mighty Aston Martin V12, both the Coupe and the Convertible, which was dubbed the Volante, debuted at the same time. Thanks to Callum’s elegant design, it heralded a new era for the British sports car manufacturer. This example is a final year production Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante that was ordered in a rare triple black specification.
