Volkswagen GOLF VENTO MK 3 VR6 1996

I’m regrettably selling my VR6 Golf/Vento due to a new classic purchase and sadly I need the space.
Dragon Green.
I have owned the VR6 In what I believe to be the best colour for almost 3 years in that time I have had the car extensively restored and conservatively modified to improve it. I’m almost 53 so they are not MAX POWER silly mods but done to improve the ride and handling.
I had a Golf VR6 about 20 years ago and was impressed by the almost unending torque in 3rd and 4th gear but not so much the handling.
As a result this car has had quality APEX fully adjustable coil over suspension fitted all round which has lowered the car slightly by 40mm and professionally set up. The track has been widened by 25mm rear and 15mm front to improve the stance. The handling package has been further enhanced by professionally painted front and rear strut braces in Dragon Green.
The car has then had a VW Vento front conversion with Vento bonnet, grill and new headlights fitted, at the same time I took the opportunity to fit brand new front wings that can be a weak pint for corrosion. ( see pics). The original Golf bonnet, lights and grill will come with the car.
Next the car was fully prepped and under sealed on a ramp.
I then worked on the interior by fitting a full black leather interior including door cards, in lovely condition that has been regularly fed and cleaned with just minor wear to the drivers seat bolster. I removed the headlining and re trimmed that in black alcantara and bought genuine VW floor mats to enhance the look.
I have fitted a modern BT stereo with USB socket.
The trip computer, ABS and electric sunroof all function as intended.
The BBS wheels were professionally powder coated with new BBS centre caps.
PIPERCROSS AIR FILTER
The VR6 has just had some minor paint correction at R Whites of Nottingham to the rear tailgate spoiler and minor lacquer peel on the passenger door.
The car has comes with full VAG service history up to the first 20 stamps then specialist including a gearbox rebuild (Scotts of Nottingham) in 2020. All manuals present and receipts.
The VR6 has 12 months MoT until January 2023. While at the MoT I noticed the rear discs while not even an advisory looked past their best so rear discs and pads will be fitted by the garage early next week.
